Clare McCracken
Mixed-media artist, researcher at RMIT University.
Dr Clare McCracken is a mixed-media artist and early career researcher at RMIT University. Her practice includes large-scale immersive installations, fine art objects, and creative writing. She works site-responsively across disciplines, and collaboratively with other artists, to create artworks that interrogate contemporary social and environmental issues from an Australian perspective. By exhibiting most of these works in public space for diverse audiences, Clare’s practice is designed to create a critical platform for discussion about the most pressing issues of our time.
